Plan your outreach with the Shortlist
Save newsletters, add notes, and keep track of who you have contacted.
Your Shortlist is your working list of newsletters you might sponsor. Think of it as a simple to-do list for outreach: who to contact, what they said, and what is next.
What you can do
- Save a newsletter from your picks on Home, from Discover, or from the newsletter's own page.
- Add a note. For example: "Asked for prices on 12 Oct", "Contact is Sam", or "$900 per issue".
- Mark as contacted once you reach out. This stops you or your team from emailing the same newsletter twice.
- Remove a newsletter you decided against. You can bring it back later if you change your mind.
A simple way to use it
- Each week, save 5 to 10 newsletters that look promising.
- Open each one, check its past sponsors, and remove the ones that do not fit.
- Contact the rest. Mark them as contacted and note what you asked for.
- When replies come in, add the prices and dates to your notes, then compare.
Common questions
- Is there a limit on how many newsletters I can save?
- No. You can save as many as you like.
