See where any brand sponsors

Look up a company to see which newsletters it has sponsored, how often, and how recently.

A brand lookup answers one question: where does this company sponsor? It is one of the fastest ways to find good newsletters, because you learn from companies that have already spent money testing them.

How to look up a brand

  1. Open Discover and switch to the Brands tab.
  2. Type the company name and choose it from the list.
  3. You see the newsletters it has sponsored, how many times, and the most recent date.
  4. Open any newsletter from that list to see the actual issues where the sponsorship appeared.

What to look for

  • Repeat sponsorships. A brand that keeps going back to the same newsletter is probably getting results there. These are the best leads.
  • Recent dates. Shows where the brand spends now, not years ago.
  • Patterns across brands. If three companies like yours all sponsor the same newsletter, that newsletter is worth a close look.

Who to look up

  • Your direct competitors.
  • Companies that sell to the same customers as you, even if they sell something different.
  • Brands you admire and want to learn from.

Common questions

The brand I searched shows no sponsorships. Does that mean it never sponsors?
Not always. It may mean Radar has not seen its sponsorships yet. See "How Radar finds sponsorships" for why unknown is not the same as zero.
What is the difference between a brand lookup and the Competitors page?
A lookup is a quick one-off check of any company. The Competitors page keeps a list of the companies you care about most, with their full history in one place.
