The Weekly Radar Brief and competitor alerts
What each email contains, when it arrives, and how to turn it on or off.
Radar can email you so you do not have to keep checking the app. There are two kinds of emails.
Weekly Radar Brief
- When: every Monday.
- What: new sponsorships from the companies and newsletters you track, and changes to your picks.
- Only when useful: it is only sent when there is something worth reviewing. A quiet week means no email, not a broken email.
- It is on by default for each business.
Competitor alerts
- When: the day a competitor you track sponsors a newsletter Radar has not seen them in before.
- How often: at most one alert email a day. If several things happen on one day, they come together in one email.
- Turn them on in Settings → Notifications.
Turn emails on or off
- Open Settings and go to Notifications.
- Switch Weekly Radar Brief or Important competitor alerts on or off. You can choose per business.
- To stop all optional emails at once, use Pause intelligence emails. Turn it off again whenever you want them back.
Common questions
- I did not get my Weekly Radar Brief this Monday. Why?
- Most likely there was nothing worth reviewing that week. Also check your spam and Promotions folders.
- My emails say they are paused. What happened?
- Emails pause by themselves if an earlier email bounced or was marked as spam. Message us and we will turn them back on.
- Can I get alerts for companies that are not competitors?
- Alerts cover the competitors you track. For other companies, track them and you will see their news in the Weekly Radar Brief.
